A compilation of three classic holiday tales performed by popular performer Michele LaRue: Their Dear Little Ghost (Elia W. Peattie), The Christmas Sing in Our Village (Mary E. Wilkins Freeman) and The Gift of the Magi (O. Henry). Michele LaRue holds a BSc in Acting from the University of Kansas, is a member of the Stage Actors Guild (AEA, SAG—AFTRA) and is the founder of Tales Well Told, through which she performs vivid portrayals of Gilded Age women. These vibrant living-history lessons connect audiences with their past through compelling characters whose dilemmas and insights, passion and humor, are also our own. Join us for an afternoon of holiday cheer!
The audience picks a B-movie that our cast has never seen. We mute it, then our cast improvises ALL the dialogue, music & sound effects!

This show combines your suggestions with the improvisers’ imaginations to create a performance of A Christmas Carol like nothing you have ever seen. What if Scrooge owned a pet store? What if the Ghost of Christmas Past was a Film Noir detective? What if Tiny Tim wasn’t so tiny? Come find out and see how your suggestions tell an all new tale of how Christmas can (or can’t!) change Ebenezer Scrooge’s life!
An Improvised Christmas Carol was developed by Randy Dixon in 1985 at the Market Theater in Seattle’s historic Pike Place Market. It’s been performed every year since.
This year’s Connecticut cast includes Greg Ludovici, Nate Gagnon and Casey Grambo of Hartford; Claire Zick and Kevin MacDermott of West Hartford; Bryan Crystal-Thurston of Avon, Dan Russell of Farmington; and Matt Saccullo of Wethersfield. MacDermott is featured as Ebeneezer Scrooge.

Sign up starts at 6:30pm and the game starts at 7:00pm.

This company was launched by Connecticut media personality Ken Tuccio. He launched the company because he felt that the trivia night options that were available were too “geek oriented” and, plain and simply, weren’t any fun. Ken designed Best Trivia Ever to be the opposite of that; an engaging show hosted by energetic personalities, filled with questions about topics people actually want to talk about.
Has anyone ever really gone to the bar excited to answer questions about the periodic table or Millard Fillmore? Nobody ever wants to talk about Millard Fillmore.

You are invited to take part in Bradford’s sound journeys every other Thursday evening at 6:00pm, here in the Awakenings Room at the Bridge Healing Arts Center. Bradford will include elements of crystal healing into his bi-weekly sound meditations.
Bradford is an internationally recognized composer, pianist and crystal/sound healer. He has produced five albums of healing music to date, and teaches workshops and certification classes in crystal, sound and Universal White Time Healing, an exclusive new healing modality.
His mission is to return people to the awareness that we are all Divine Beings of Love and Light through inspiration, education and activation.
