Comedian Bios:
Tom Kelly is a stand up comedian best known for his work as a “warm up comic” at ABC’s The View, Good Morning America, The $100,000 Pyramid and America’s Got Talent. Tom’s humor combines kindness and self deprecation with a biting wit. Tom is a regular contributor at ABC’s World News Now where he showcases colorful characters working and living in unique environments.
Sean Lynch is best known for his appearances on Comedy Central’s Contest Searchlight with Denis Leary and Lenny Clarke as well as various voices on his hit MTV show Celebrity Deathmatch. Sean has also appeared on MTV Spring Break, Showtime’s Comedy Shorts and HBO’s Flashback. He has written for MTV, Spike TV and The Food Network. His voice is well known as an announcer for MTV, The Grand Theft Auto game series and several commercials. Two days after Michelle Slonim gave birth to a baby girl, Michelle received an email saying she was cast in a sketch for Late Night With Seth Meyers. Michelle had gone on tons of auditions: once in a chicken costume, another time in a bikini while eight months pregnant, and she never got the part. Now a week after her baby was welcomed into the world, Michelle’s in hair, makeup and wardrobe, on set for a major network television show. She plans to have a second child so she can make an appearance on Colbert. Michelle has appeared on web-shows for Comedy Central and HBO and on SiriusXM Radio. You can see her performing stand up comedy in most clubs and bar shows in New York City.
Ben Rosenfeld is a quirky immigrant whose comedy can be best described as “playfully dark, seriously smart.” Ben’s comedy blends his family’s experience as Russian Jewish immigrants in America with his philosophical beliefs, political observations and unique characters. Ben has been seen on BuzzFeedVideo and is slightly “TikTok famous” with over 240,000 followers and 10,000,000 likes. Heights & Lights: Santa Rappel and Tree Lighting
From 22 stories high above Stamford Downtown, watch and cheer for Santa Claus, Rudolph, Grinch and friends as they make their daredevil descent, twisting and flying from the top of one of Stamford’s tallest buildings, Landmark Square. Then follow Santa and friends up Bedford Street to Latham Park for an evening of holiday music and join in the countdown of the annual lighting of Stamford’s Holiday Tree.
Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular Park Party
In close consultation with public health officials and community leaders, Stamford Downtown has designed a Parade Spectacular Park Party! that can safely accommodate an audience of young and old with the energy and excitement that we have brought to the community the Sunday before Thanksgiving for decades.
This free community event in Mill River Park will feature giant helium balloons, marching bands, and dance/performance groups. Participants will enjoy sixty minutes of performances and activities repeated three times to enable crowds to be effectively managed. Come at any time to watch a sequence for an hour, or come for the whole afternoon and enjoy the show three times over! All the best of the annual Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular will be brought together in one place.
